Why we are different with kids swimming classes

Learning swimming through fun and play.

Becoming one with the world of water.

How do our bodies work in the water? How can we breathe in the water? How can we float? Aren’t we going to fall when we float? These are some of the curious questions children have when they first begin to learn swimming. Through our gentle and entertaining method we teach children to enjoy the natural medium that is water while learning basic safety and having lots of fun. It’s important to relate to each child’s perspective of the water and address their specific needs and questions during each session. We strive to generate trust and safety and we work with the personality of each kid individually, day by day. Give us a call for more details and find out how you can get started  |  Phone (954) 608-9426  |  Email info@myaquadventure.com

Swimming Basics

Let’s be safe in the water.

This is the first step to a successful relationship with water. We teach basic water safety, floating, breathing, how to jump in the pool and swim back to the edge and what to do in case of an accidental fall in the water. This course can be custom tailored for babies, toddlers, and older kids as well.
Session Duration: 30 minute sessions
Course Duration: Depending on the age of each kid and previous exposure to water activities, this course may be as short as 4-8 sessions or may require a longer plan. We will help you determine this upon our first meeting.

Learning Strokes

NOW LET’S SWIM IN STYLE

Designed for children who have mastered Swimming Basics and who while already safe in the water, wish to learn specific strokes (back stroke, breast stroke, butterfly stroke, crawl or freestyle).
Course Duration: 30–60 minute sessions
Course Duration: Depending on the specific goals of each kid, this course may be taught in as little as 4 sessions, or may require a longer period in case of children who wish to learn a variety of styles or perfect their technique.

Private Lessons

Our most common
class plan

Most of the classes we offer are private and over years of experience we have realized that a one-to-one setting provides an ideal learning environment for most children, so this has become our most popular class arrangement.

Small Groups

Perfect for siblings
and friends

We also offer flexible arrangements for siblings or friends who prefer to attend classes as a small pre-organized group. So if you have a small group of 2–3 kids, or siblings at a similar level, let us know and we will do our best to set them up as a group.
